Hey there;
Depending on the weather...
I'm thinking of heading up Desert Angel (near Blaisdale Canyon/ Windy Cove) tomorrow (Saturday morning)... and seeing how high I can get toward the Mountain Station before I have to turn around. I've never done the route before but I'm expecting it to be mostly ridge line hiking. I've got the mindset to go all the way up, but that depends on conditions at higher elevation of course.
Let me know if you are interested, it will be a difficult hike and not for beginners. Could take a few hours or several.
Afterwards - get dinner?
PS: It will be ALL cross country.
