The Desert Sun has been having issues. They say that since their public blogs have a lot of spam that Google flagged them as a malware infector. I don't use virus software but my browser issues a warning. No actual malware, to my knowledge, is being forwarded to anyone?

Wait? You don't use virus software? You really should, it is a bad world out there. Lots of good free options even.

I don't quite understand how blog comments could cause Google to flag them for malware. My hunch is it's from one of their damned popup ads. I won't go anywhere near mydesert.com without my adblocker running.

I use Macs. The only malware out there are a few Trojans but no viruses. I've used them since OSX came out-- about ten years-- with no anti-virus and no problems.

Here is a link to a story talking about the increased attacks on Macs. I have seen several stories on this the past couple months, this was the first link I found. The are starting to come after you ... The days of Mac owners not having to worry about the bad viruses is coming to an end, better safe than sorry.
