Trail Info Request: Humber Park to San J

Postby John » Sat Jul 14, 2007 1:12 pm

Does anyone have any current trail or water conditions for Humber Park to San J summit. It sounds like all the water sources are just about gone, but I wanted to check in with the regulars...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

I'm not sure what route you are taking, but I was up at Round Valley today. There is water there, not much, but there is water. I talked to a couple of backpackers, Little Round Valley is dry.

Had a great trip to San Jac on Sunday and here's the latest water conditions:

No water on the trail between Humber Park and the summit of San Jac, except for limited flow at Wellman CIenega. As of 7/15, there's still enough flow to slow fill or filter a bottle of water.

Wow...the water is still running there. I saw a couple using a plastic fan like apparatus to fill several liters. I surprised its still going.

Thanks for the heads up.
