Having talked with representatives of the Desert Water Agency twice now, I believe that they simply want climbers to avoid their one square mile of private property -- specifically, section 33.

Sam and Patrick, that was one heck of an endeavor. Sometimes I fantasize about doing something like that, and then I remember all my phobias (like heights, man-eating brush, and getting lost to name a few.) Thanks for the great TR and pics.

Woah, GOOD JOB guys!

This type of endeavor is what defines real and pure climbing, in my opinion. Route finding is where half of the fun is! This route you guys pioneered is wild! And the chute in that picture is freaking epic.

I've been wanting to cross country up Jacinto in this manner for a long time now. This is but pure inspiration! Keep it up.

The DWA only owns what's in section 33. The road that leads from Snow Creek Road to their property is public (until it hits their property). In fact, the PCT follows that road (I believe it's called Falls Creek Road).

here is what i cant understand, if that is a public road why are they ticketing cars. they don't know where you are going-THEY ASSUME you are going on their property.
this just boils my blood, obviously.

Jim Foote, manager of the Santa Rosa National Monument is working with the DWA to put up signs for the PCT at Snowcreek Village.
