Planning on doing an overnight out to little round valley via strawberry junction on the way out, and past san jacinto peak on the way back. Was wondering if anyone had any info or suggestions about the conditions on these trails.

Hi,
Haven't been above 8,500 ft. for a few weeks, most below that, at least on the east side of mt. has melted away.
It's not too cold at 8,500 ft. for much snow, just rain, but things will progress in the next few days.

Snow predicted above 9k for the next few days, PLUS! some clouds & fog at times. This can make navigating a real challenge, I've become disoriented up there in those conditions, and I've been hiking around there for 20 yrs.

Here's a link for 7 day wx @ 10,500.

Also, go to PSTramway and check out the new camera's, their live & quite good, you can move them around too.

If you go, be safe, know the terrain & have fun.
