Little Round Valley - Water Situation

Postby simpsond » Thu Nov 11, 2010 4:26 pm

Does anyone know the status of water flow at little round valley? I was up there in september, and there was enough to filter, but I am not sure where that water comes from.

Thanks!

I appreciate that Dave. Water was my only concern. :)

Ok Dave, I'm trying to figure why you ended up in LRV after I saw you. You got the third Peak right? Did you guys go off the mountain over there?

Oops, sorry simpsond--my bad! I was a little cross-eyed after spending all day on the 'puter and didn't catch the little in round valley.
If I hear of anyone that's been over there recently I'll post up!

I was in Little Round Valley yesterday and there was plenty of water.

The spring that runs down the Deer Springs Trail below LRV was frozen solid (which made for some slippery steppin'), but the creek in LRV was running.
