Our Boy Scout troop is camping at Round Valley this weekend and I'm wondering how the mosquitos are behaving these days. Should we bring an extra Scout for chum? :)

Dave- thanks for hanging out with ryan for a bit waiting for us. that hiked kicked my you know what.
i think the skeeters are horrible everywhere this year. they got healthy during the rain season or something. bring everything you got.

We had no issues with bugs this past Friday/Saturday - just those who chose to ignore the rules and camp where they wanted to, but then again perhaps they could be considered bugs...!

We didn't see any skeetrs last week, but that was at elevation.

they seem the worst to me right now on SJ between 5000' - 7500' at dusk
