Current Trail condition for C2C?

General Palm Springs area.

I did the hike last Saturday with 2 other friends and it was definitely an awesome hike. We were really fortunate that the highs were 93 degrees in Palm Springs that day. We had a 5:30am start and were able to avoid most of the heat by getting into the higher elevations at a decent time. It took us 8 hrs. 45 min to get to the top. I would definitely recommend to anyone trying this trail that you wait for the cooler temperatures, spring/fall as mentioned and that you get yourself in good shape before attempting. I had to really push my friends to get to the top, who were struggling. I guess they had some 20 year old missing for a few days and have not found the person. Pretty scary. Anyhow, thanks again for all the tips and help. This is a great resource to have.
