Pardon me, but which part is "the traverse"?

Its the narrow "trail" about 900 feet below Long Valley at about 7500 ft. This is the most dangerous section when there is ice because of the steep drop off. A small part of it is about 8 inches wide and slightly downsloping. In winter this section is always in the shade. Sometimes there is ice beneath the snow.
