Anyone know the snow conditions from tram to the peak?

I get next week off of school and was looking to do at least one hike on my days off. Either on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for the info.

Snow

Postby lilbitmo » Wed Nov 18, 2009 2:12 pm

Less than an inch on most of the trail, slightly icy in the mornings on the upper reaches, micro spikes might help if you have them but are not a must if you are careful. The summit blocks have slightly more but not much more, the granite is very slick (my leg's are full of scratches to prove it). Most of the snow will be melted where the it's been exposed to the sun, the shady spots will not.

As of yesterday it was well beaten with no problems.
