Starting at 6:30am today from the Ramon trailhead hiked to the 4300' level and back. Really an amazing day for June. At 9:30am when i turned around the temp was 58°! I think it would have been too cold for me to continue all the way to the tram even if i'd planned that. Just took my time this morning and really enjoyed the lower desert sections of the trail. Clouds to the east blocked the sun much of the morning. Clouds were also rolling over the Desert Divide to the south. There seemed to be a couple of sets of fresh footprints on the trail ahead of me but i didn't see anyone else. I had the trail all to myself except for a friendly rosy boa that was happy to see me!
