Mount San Jacinto water availability

I am going backpacking next week at Mount San Jacinto (a loop from the tram) and am wondering how much water is availability along the trail. Does anyone know if any streams are running up there right now?

There are several creeks on the west side (I did Marion Mountain Trail to peak last week). Willow creek and Round Valley are reliable sources except in drought years or in the fall. I'm guessing there's a trickle along the PCT on the south side to the east of Strawberry Junction but that dries up quickly in the summer. The source by the PCT and Deer Springs junction becomes stagnant rather quickly and later dries up. Hope that helps.

There is water flowing from Willow Creek on the Wellman's Divide trail

No prob. I think Lori means the Wellman's Cienega. I think that dries up at some point during the summer, but I have only been on that section of trail twice because my usual loop takes the PCT. A bit of trivia: some people call the section "Angel's Glide" from Saddle Junction to Wellman's Divide.

Little Round Valley is another reliable source for late summer (non-drought year). Just useful info for anybody reading this. You'll have a lot of water options in May.

Yes it is the Wellman's Cienega that I am referring to. Willow Creek the feeding water source.
