It appears that Bill Burke, the guy Tina and I ran into on Skyline in Februrary is finally about to make it to the summit tomorrow. I've been following his post and this has been a long ordeal for him. The legalities and logistics seems to have taken a long time. He left sometime around the end of March to go over there.

Not to mention this has been his third attempt.

Best of luck to you all Bill.

btw...did anybody see that they were doing an experiment with the climbers on everest recently and had all the guys up there on Viagra ?

...now there's some good humor.

If you go to the home page for his site, and you check out his training partner, I think you really get a feel for who this guy is.

WAY TO GO BILL BURKE !!!!

Cy, what are you always doing up this late (early ?). well it's nice to have someone to share this with at 2 in the morning. Bill obviously has a group that also have been up all night waiting for this. I'm really happy for him. what a great guy and I know he really wanted this bad.

now to get ready to pick up Mark, go meet Ellen, Z and Tina and hit the trail. Wish you were joining us Cy.

congratulations again to Bill Burke and everyone involved !
