Anyone know the conditions on palm canyon now, and has anyone done it recently??

I'm not sure what kind of conditions you are asking about. It's a great trail that not much can happen to. A couple of us did it in the winter and it was perfect. a little snow at the top, but if you think about that much your just gonna be jealous when your there.

Your from the desert so you know your only real issue will be to bring plenty of fluids and electrolytes. If I were going to be doing it right now I would carry no less than 5-6 liters and i would start up top to get an early (pre dawn ) start. Unless of course you know someone who can get you into Indian canyons way before their 8 am open time ( unless it's earlier in the summer, I'd call to see ).

Thanks Bluerail. Ya, that 8 am start just makes me question it seeing the distance involved. I have my two caelbacks so I should be fine, its just the heat tho... Thx again
