Skyline May 9 - kinda hot - going elsewhere?

General Palm Springs area.

A couple guys did the big loop before I started doing it: Greg and Craig. So maybe it's the "Greg n' Craig" loop. I think it's more fun to start with the Willow Creek Trail and save the peak for the end.

Thanks Ellen! I do that loop at least once a summer.

Hikin Jim: Yes, the loop is a very nice one for trailrunning - not too much elevation gain and all at pretty good elevation, so it doesn't get too hot. All the same, I wish the tram ran at 5:00 a.m. during the summer, that would be perfect.

Perry: I like your idea of doing it in reverse. I've only done it peak first, and I think I'd prefer to be coming down from the peak at the end of the run instead of coming back up from Laws.

Ellen: Thanks! I'll look for a bunch of crazy hikin' fools at the Mill Creek Ranger Station 5:00 Saturday morning!
